A: FAQ is an acronym for "frequently asked questions."

A: The club is open for casual play on the patio everyday from 2pm-7pm.  On Wednesday evenings the club is open to receive visitors at 6 pm. Announcements are made at 7pm followed by tournament play.Friday evenings are reserved for the junior (under 18 years) and scholastic players.  On Saturdays the club is open from 10am for the Gambito tournament series..

A: The club manager is Bruce Baker and he is around much of the time.  Chuck Ensey is usually also available on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays.  If you are unable to get to these two, ask any club member for one of the board members who may be able to assist you..

A: For adult members, Wednesday evenings between 6pm and 7pm or Saturdays at 10:15 am onwards. For scholastic/juniors (under 18) and their parents, Friday evenings at 6pm.  Instruction and activities coordinated by Bruce Baker under the "Jedi Knights Chess Club".

A: Regular membership fee is $60 for one year.  There are discounts for seniors (over 65), active military, juniors (under 18) and families.

A: The regular charge for the 5 or 6 week Wednesday tournaments ar $25 per tournament.  You do get cash prizes which helps to defray the overall cost of participating..
