SAN DIEGO CHESS CLUB
San Diego Chess Club, coined America's finest chess club, is located in beautiful Balboa Park, at 2225 6th Avenue. Tournaments are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays (all ages). Scholastic events (for grades K through 12th) are held on some Sundays. Free casual play (all levels, all ages, no memberships required) is on Thursdays and Fridays.

04/28: Scholastic Simul with GM JJ
SDCC hosted a special scholastic simul with GM Cemil Can Ali Marandi on Sunday, April 28th. 33 young players participated in this event. Event lasted 5 hours from 11 am til 4 pm.
04/27: Blitz Gambito #1052
Special Blitz Gambito took place on Saturday, April 27th. 44 players participated playing 12 rounds of G5d2 games! Isaac Wang (10.5/12), Richard Yi (8.5/12) and Ephraim Rosenstock (8.5/12) were the top three finishers.
